The rope luffing is effected in a so-called A-frame design. This way the crane achieves optimal stability and reliability.
Operation without a loss of productivity is also possible when it is dark. Powerful LEDs and fluorescent lamps at the boom, slewing platform and the machine housing provide optimal lighting of the work environment and for inspecting the crane.

The diesel tank is located in the machine housing and is easily accessible for refilling.

Lattice tubular boom
The basic elements of the lattice tubular boom include the boom foot with the main and auxiliary hoisting winches, as well as the head with optional auxiliary hoist and hook block. Owing to the different lengths of the boom, the cranes can also be individually adapted to your requirements.
Pedestal adapter
As an interface for customer installation, the basic pillar adapter fulfils various functions. It controls the positioning of the slip ring assembly and guarantees the precision fit of the large diameter bearing.
Hydrostatic drive
Closed hydraulic loops are used for all main functions such as lifting, turning and luffing. The crane operator benefits from extremely precise control, the service personnel benefit from a minimum number of components and the operating company benefits from reduced fuel consumption.
Paintwork
To be able to defy offshore environmental conditions, the standard paintwork consists of multilayer painting for optimal conservation.

The machine housing is made from robust steel components. All components such as the drive unit, oil tank and control cabinets inside the machine housing are easily accessible. If required, they can be lifted on deck with the assembly crane.

Overload monitoring system

Explosion protection is available for the individual components or the entire crane.
In the event of a failure of the control system in the cab, the crane can be operated in emergency mode via remote control.
In addition to the main hoist, the BOS cranes can also be fitted with an auxiliary hoist. This is used for the quick lifting of smaller loads, as well as for transporting people.
This feature guarantees safe operation at low temperatures.
