Particularly good results were achieved in the environment category.

Two decades of market success with our CBG

Over the course of 20 years, Liebherr has established a robust presence in both Port & Transshipment Solutions in Vietnam, making it a significant market for the division. Our reputation for exceptional products and services has contributed to our success, evidenced by the order of eight Liebherr cranes by one of our key customers. This led to the introduction of the CBG 360 in Vietnam, part of our CBG series, which facilitates dry bulk handling and Transshipment from capesize vessel to barge. In addition to our superior quality and reliable service, we aim to support our customers' enduring market dominance. Our local partner, Lin Dan, and our Singapore regional office both provide dependable backup to our customers.

Annual report 2022

The Liebherr Group closed the 2022 business year with a record turnover of €12,589 million.

Difficult general conditions, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and rapidly rising food and fuel prices slowed economic growth and development in the past business year. Nevertheless, the Liebherr Group achieved increases in turnover, some of them significant, in ten of its 13 product segments, surpassing the previous turnover record set in 2021 by €950 million. The number of employees also increased. At the end of the year, Liebherr employed 51,321 people worldwide.

Hybrid RTG for Baltic Hub

The Baltic Hub, formerly DCT Gdansk have commissioned Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. to retrofit a hybrid green energy storage solution on one of its Liebherr RTGs. The Liduro energy storage system along with a reduced sized generator will see a greater than 30% reduction in emissions and fuel consumption. Reduced running costs make the retrofit a cost neutral solution. It is available for new Liebherr RTGs or can be retrofitted to existing models through our own specialist retrofit and upgrade teams – better known as Liebherr Transform.
