Renting construction machinery is the flexible solution

For medium-sized and small construction projects, buying a construction machine is often not an option. Even used machines, which are available at lower prices, are often beyond the budget. The machine is used too seldom and the acquisition costs are too high. Small construction companies in particular thrive on the flexibility of their orders. Flexibility is required in the choice of machines and in scheduling. Sometimes you need a mini-excavator for the construction site, then again a dozer or a telescopic loader - all preferably yesterday. Construction machinery rental is the perfect solution for these short-term jobs.

But large construction companies also have a need for construction machinery rental: They usually own a fleet of earthmoving equipment, but parallel projects can also lead to bottlenecks. Renting an additional excavator or wheel loader can quickly solve the capacity problem.

Renting special machines, such as rail-road excavators or material handling machines, is also often worthwhile.

In Austria, Liebherr Österreich Vertriebs- und Service GmbH is responsible for renting earthmoving and handling machines. Find the nearest rental station in your region on the map. Simply enter your postcode in the search bar.

Can I rent from you as a private individual?

We rent exclusively in B2B to business customers.

How do I find the most applicable machine for my application?

We are of course available for advice - please do not hesitate to contact us: via the contact form or directly through your rental partner.

You will also find technical data and brochures of all machine types on our earthmoving product pages, which can also help you find the right machine.

How long does it take to receive a response to my rental request? Is the requested machine available?

After receiving your rental request, we process it immediately and check the availability of the machine based on your information (rental start date, operating location) and contact you as soon as possible.

How does the machine get to the operating location? Will I receive instruction on the machine?

We will gladly organise the transport to your operating location and also the pick-up again. Alternatively, you can also take care of the transport logistics yourself.

On request, we will instruct every machine operator in the operation of our rental machines, either at our locations or during the handover at your construction sites.

Does the machine operator need a special driving licence?

Driving licences are not required for the operation of construction machinery. The legal regulations apply for operations and driving in public traffic areas.

Is the machine ready for immediate use at the start of the rental period? Does the machine need to be serviced by the hirer?

We hand over the rental object to you in perfect, operational condition with all necessary documents.

The hirer is obliged to carry out the proper and professional daily maintenance and care of the hired object at his own expense, including fuel and lubricants, as well as AdBlue.

What should I do in the event of a defect, an error message or an accident? What should I do in the event of theft?

In any case, please inform the rental company immediately. Our technicians will immediately take care of the malfunction.

In the event of a traffic accident, the police must also be called in. A theft must be reported to the police immediately.

Where does the machine have to go at the end of the rental period?

To the same rental station as at the time of collection. The hirer is obliged to notify the intended return delivery in good time (clearance notification).

What happens if damage to the rental object is discovered upon receipt of the rental?

We inform the hirer of the extent of the defects and damage found, including the costs of repairing the damage or missing parts. The tenant then has the opportunity to inspect the damage/defects within 2 working days. A checklist is worked through and pictures of the condition are documented every time a tenant checks out or checks in.
