5 facts about economical and resource-saving concrete production with the new Mobilmix

Under the slogan "Hands on the future", Liebherr will be showcasing solutions for the construction site of the future at Bauma 2025. Discover over 70 exhibits and a variety of individual solution concepts at Liebherr's approximately 14,000 m2 booth – including the new Mobilmix from Liebherr-Mischtechnik GmbH. The largest variant with a 4 m³ twin-shaft mixer will be exhibited for the first time at Bauma. Here are five interesting facts about this exhibit.

Fast and cost-effective transport and assembly

A highlight of the Mobilmix series is the fast and cost-effective transport and assembly. The Mobilmix transport units are optimized for road transport. As such, the plant can be moved quickly and economically from one construction site to the next. Thanks to the innovative folding concept and the integrated technology container, the plant can be installed without time-consuming foundation work. This means that concrete production is possible after only 9 days under the right conditions. This rapid readiness for use saves time and costs on the construction site.

Energy efficiency at the highest level

A significant innovation in the new Mobilmix is the smoothing of power peaks by up to 64%. This is achieved through the use of LiPerformance process optimization. This not only reduces the connection costs to the power grid by up to €50,000, but also reduces the operating costs for energy by about 25%. As a positive side effect, wear is noticeably reduced thanks to the smooth starting and stopping of the drives.

Reduction of mixing times by up to 30%

With the latest generation of Liebherr twin-shaft mixers and ring-pan mixers, the speeds of the drives can be adjusted individually and according to the progress of the mixing process. This means that mixing times can be reduced by up to 30 % for highly demanding formulas for state-of-the-art concretes.

Increase in output by 10 to 20 %

With the latest LiPerformance process optimization in conjunction with the Liebherr control system, all processes are optimally coordinated. This achieves 10-20 % higher output rates compared to conventional batching plants of the same size class. The Mobilmix plants are capable of producing up to 170 m³ of compacted fresh concrete per hour. This high output makes them particularly efficient and powerful, making them ideal for large construction projects. The high production capacity ensures that a continuous supply is guaranteed even with large quantities of concrete.

Precise dosing for efficient use of resources

Thanks to a dosing accuracy of +/- 1 kg with the new LiPerformance process optimization, up to 8 kg of cement can be saved with a standard formula with a minimum cement content of 300 kg. With a concrete production of 50,000 m³ per year, at least € 50,000 can be saved thanks to high-precision dosing.
