Liebherr-Aerospace is currently developing a new service center in the Middle East for the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of air management components. Located at Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub the facility will be dedicated to serve regional customers with optimized MRO and logistic performance.

Liebherr HVAC systems for Saudi Arabia Railways

Liebherr-Aerospace Saline, Inc. expands the maintenance, repair and overhaul shop surface at its industrial campus in Michigan (USA) and celebrated recently the official opening of a new building with invited guests, management, and over 300 employees. With the new facility the company is able to meet the growing customers’ demand for MRO services covering the Liebherr products that are on board a wide variety of commercial aircraft, helicopters and business jets.

Challenging climate conditions: Liebherr presents HVAC-solution at Global Rail 2025

Liebherr supplies propane-based HVAC systems for ÖBB FLIRT Akku trains

Liebherr-Transportation Systems was commissioned by Swiss train manufacturer Stadler Bussnang to supply propane-based HVAC systems that will be integrated in battery electric multile unit FLIRT trains. The accumulator railcars are planned to enter into operational service at Austrian Federal Railways ÖBB in 2028.

Liebherr supplies CO2 air-conditioning systems to Siemens Mobility

Liebherr has reached a major milestone towards more sustainable mobility in Europe: The company supplies heating, ventilation and air- conditioning systems that use the natural refrigerant R744 (CO2). The HVAC system is one of the first solutions of its kind in mainline passenger transportation to be used in regular operations in Europe. The systems with a low ecological footprint will be supplied to Siemens Mobility during the next three years.
