From 26 February onwards, Liebherr domestic appliances will offer customers and trade partners two new communication platforms: the domestic appliances blog and a Facebook page.
The blog will keep readers regularly informed of the latest news and advice on food storage, healthy eating and Liebherr refrigeration and freezing products.
The Facebook page will tell users about new items on the blog. Using the integrated service channel, customers looking for advice can contact the experts at the Liebherr info centre for answers to questions and for advice on refrigeration and freezing. The page will also include fun, interactive features.
Liebherr domestic appliances has already been on YouTube and Twitter for two years. While Twitter users receive news and information on new products and blog entries, informative films on YouTube demonstrate innovations in refrigeration and freezing.

Liebherr supplies electromechanical rudder actuator for Phenom 300EV – a milestone in civil aviation
Liebherr-Aerospace has signed an agreement with Embraer to become part of the rudder-by-wire upgrade of the flight control system for the Phenom 300EV. The upgrade includes an electromechanical rudder actuator with integrated control and power electronics. It is one of the world’s first primary flight control applications of an electromechanical actuator (EMA) for a rudder on a civil aircraft. Furthermore, it is the first rudder EMA with fully integrated electronics.

Liebherr electrifies hydraulic construction project with unplugged crawler crane
For the refurbishment of the Brouwer sluice lock complex on the Brouwersdam in the Netherlands, the company De Klerk Werkendam is relying on Liebherr’s battery-powered LR 1130.1 unplugged crawler crane. As part of this, the 50-year-old sheet pile structures are being replaced; these play a key role in regulating the flow of water between the North Sea and the Grevelingenmeer.
