Quality, precision and longevity are fundamental to our products, as is our claim to harmonise profitable solutions with environmentally responsible actions. Continuous development and efficient processes allow us to make conscious use of energy and resources.
Climate change is one of the biggest challenges of our era. Throughout our value chain, we are working to gradually reduce emissions and to implement improvements wherever technically and financially viable – in discussion with employees, customers and partners.

Contributing to the environment and society
Liebherr is committed to sustainable and responsible practices in many areas of its business activity. In this way, we can help address environmental issues and support the communities in which we live and work.
Our corporate responsibility strategy is based on the 17 sustainability targets of the United Nations and incorporates four areas: products and services, environment and energy, employees and society, and sustainable business practices.
We are currently gathering resilient data and developing specific group-wide targets, figures and measures. This covers topics such as the responsible use of resources, the further development of our value chains and the promotion of equal opportunities.
