At the international kitchen trade fair, EuroCucina, in Milan, Liebherr presents lifestyle products with innovative ideas from 17 to 22 April 2018. Under the motto "Discover Individual Design – Explore Innovative Solutions", technical innovations and individual design solutions are presented at the trade fair stand in Pavilion 9. The new Monolith range celebrates its European première in Milan.
Innovative technology
SmartDevice technology, presented at the International Consumer Electronics Fair last year, is the focus of the trade fair appearance: "As a specialist for fridge and freezer units, with this technology we offer our customers not only the opportunity to control the fridge from anywhere, but to also see its content at any time in any place by means of modular cameras", states Steffen Nagel, Managing Director for Sales, Liebherr-Hausgeräte GmbH. "Our customers also receive tasty recipe ideas directly on their smartphone with the SmartDevice app. Our expert tips on how to keep food in ideal conditions and fresh for longer are helpful in day-to-day life", highlights Steffen Nagel.
European première in Milan
Another highlight at EuroCucina is the new Monolith range. With this range of appliances Liebherr presents a new dimension of food storage and impresses with a unique design.
Cooling the MyStyle way
With the colour and image configurator MyStyle, Liebherr offers its customers the unique option of individually and creatively designing their fridge. Be it coloured, uniquely printed with their favourite picture or classic and classy – customers can create a refrigerator to suit their personal tastes with MyStyle. It doesn't get more unique than this.
EuroCucina: Industry highlights since 1974
The international kitchen trade fair EuroCucina takes place this year for the 22nd time. Industry highlights have been presented in Milan since 1974. Every two years professional visitors as well as the general public can experience innovative concepts and design solutions for domestic use. Manufacturer’s plant in sight: LTM 1230-5.1 erects concrete columns in Ehingen-Berg
Haslach GmbH, based in Wertach in the Allgäu region, has used its Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 mobile crane to install three concrete columns, each weighing 20 tonnes, for a potato storage hall in Ehingen-Berg. These columns play a key role in ensuring the stability of the building. Although a smaller crane would generally have been sufficient for the lifts, the family-run company deliberately opted for the 230-tonne crane.

Liebherr supplies electromechanical rudder actuator for Phenom 300EV – a milestone in civil aviation
Liebherr-Aerospace has signed an agreement with Embraer to become part of the rudder-by-wire upgrade of the flight control system for the Phenom 300EV. The upgrade includes an electromechanical rudder actuator with integrated control and power electronics. It is one of the world’s first primary flight control applications of an electromechanical actuator (EMA) for a rudder on a civil aircraft. Furthermore, it is the first rudder EMA with fully integrated electronics.
