Our operating system: Tower Crane Operating System (TC OS)
The state-of-the-art operating system TC OS is at the heart of your future crane fleet. A user-friendly interface, intuitive menu navigation and intelligent assistance systems make crane operation easier and increase safety on site.

TC OS for top-slewing cranes
The tower crane operating system TC OS is designed for ease of use. The user can access any setting with just a few taps, and the menu bar is always visible to ensure quick navigation. This significantly reduces time spent on training and familiarisation. Wizards provide active support for crane configuration and scaling, and a logic check helps with correct setup.
The TC OS offers helpful assistance systems, including slew safety area limitation. This allows the assembly engineer to define the exact working area. The crane operator is alerted by an audible signal and an on-screen display when approaching such an area, and the crane stops automatically.

TC OS 2 for fast-erecting cranes
The state-of-the-art operating system forms the central component of our fast-erecting cranes. Crane functions such as Load-Plus and lifting capacity reduction can be individually activated for site requirements via the proven TC OS user interface. The new Tower Crane Operating System 2 (TC OS 2) control system features a standardised radio control for all new fast-erecting cranes. Features such as clear text and a user-friendly layout support the new display.
Highly innovative assistance systems like Sway Control, Guided Hook, Vertical Line Finder and Positioning Pilot revolutionise crane operation. The semi-automated systems enable more precise handling and take operation to a whole new level.

Display
Our display offers an intuitive and clear overview. It shows warnings and error messages in plain text. This means operators can take immediate action, avoid potential interruptions in advance and reduce downtimes.
Different operating screens can be displayed depending on the site situation and personal preferences. Menu navigation geared towards different user roles, clear operating elements and a user-centred display all make working with our assistance systems incredibly easy.
Crane cabin and control stand

Crane cabin with ergonomic control stand
A lot of strain during crane operation and long periods of sitting impact on concentration. To help crane operators maintain high levels of concentration and work performance, the Liebherr cabin features a control stand that sets new standards in terms of ergonomics. The seat can be adjusted in various directions to always ensure the right position and the best view. Plus, adjustable joysticks and armrests make it possible to sustain sensitivity over the course of a long day. A well-designed heating and air conditioning system completes the cabin’s equipment.

Joysticks
The joysticks, which have been designed together with customers and users, provide access to all essential crane functions. In addition to all crane drives, the special functions Micromove and Load-Plus can also be used directly during operation. This keeps the workflow as smooth as possible.

Radio control
As well as cabin-based crane control, we also offer radio controls for all crane models. These have the same familiar features as those available in the cabin. Feedback from the crane is also shown on the radio control display. This allows the crane operator to move freely on site, for example to overcome any obstructions to visibility.

Hook camera
The additional screen in the cabin allows you to keep an eye on the load at all times thanks to autofocus and zoom features. The batteries are charged automatically to ensure that the camera system is always available.
