New Liebherr Mixing Tower Produces High-Performance Concrete for Wind Turbines

Bad Schussenried (Germany), October 2014 – The Max Bögl Group of Companies acquired a new Liebherr mixing tower for production in Osterrönfeld, Germany. An inauguration party celebrated commencement of operations on 16th of July, 2014 for the newly-established precast concrete factory and the concrete mixing plant. This site will produce exceptionally demanding hybrid towers for the purposes of wind energy.

Liebherr at the NordBau 2014 trade fair

At the construction machine trade fair, NordBau 2014, in Neumünster (Germany), which runs from 10th to 14th September, the Liebherr Group will have a total of 15 construction machines on show from the latest range. At a large open air stand (Nord N143), measuring 800 m², Liebherr offers trade visitors a cross section from its range of earthmoving and material handling equipment. Two Liebherr dealers are also presenting Liebherr tower cranes and truck mixers at their stands.

Innovative Truck-Mounted Concrete Pump from Liebherr on Show at the MaskinExpo 2014 in Sweden

The Liebherr truck-mounted concrete pump 41 M5 XXT exhibited at MaskinExpo 2014 is equipped with a powerful high-pressure pump unit THP 140H. It offers maximum concrete output of 140 m³/h and maximum concrete pressure of 119 bar. The torsional resistant 5-section multi-fold distributor boom has a length of 41 m. The vehicle presented in Stockholm is equipped with the unique and patented Liebherr XXT narrow support version.

At the 2014 construction machinery exhibition in Bern (Switzerland), Liebherr presents its crawler concrete pump THS 110 D-K with features a maximum concrete output of 102 m³/h and a six-cylinder engine. The series of Liebherr crawler concrete pumps encompasses three different models - the THS 80 D-K, the THS 110 D-K and the THS 140 D-K providing max. concrete outputs of 65 m³/h to 135 m³/h.

The series of Liebherr crawler concrete pumps encompasses three different models - the THS 80 D-K, the THS 110 D-K and the THS 140 D-K providing max. concrete outputs of 65 m³/h (85 yd³/h) to 135 m³/h (177 yd³/h).

Situated in Tamworth, Great Britain, Professional Concrete Pumping Ltd. (PCP) placed an order at the end of January for six Liebherr truck-mounted concrete pumps from Liebherr-Betonpumpen GmbH in Neu-Ulm (Germany). This order represents the single largest customer order placed for Liebherr-Betonpumpen GmbH since their takeover of concrete pump manufacturer Waitzinger in October, 2012.

A Liebherr Betomat V 1010 mixing tower has recently been commissioned at Alfons Greten GmbH & Co. KG in Essen/ Oldenburg, Germany. Featuring a diameter of 10.5 m and an overall height of 32 m, the Betomat V 1010 is Liebherr's largest concrete mixing tower. Eight chambers provide a storage capacity of approximately 1000 m³ for aggregates.
