D9816

The D9816 is one of three variants of the Liebherr D98 family. Thanks to its intelligent modular system, this V-16 cylinders engine perfectly fits with mining applications such as hydraulic excavators or mining trucks. The engine is built to withstand the tough conditions of the mining industry. This sixteen-cylinder engine comes with a heat shield on turbochargers and exhaust lines as well as individual fuel pressure accumulators per injector that considerably improve dynamic response and extend the component’s life. The V16 engine reaches up to 3000 kW for mining applications.
