Even though our machines come from the same production plant, hardly any Liebherr construction machine is entirely identical. We have realised that the work our customers do, differs far too much for them to be the same. We have been meeting the individual requirements of our customers for over 70 years with tailored solutions.

The wide range of possibilities is demonstrated by the fact that we have over 1000 equipment features. Those have been developed over many years. The many options make configuring a Liebherr machine an art form in itself. Not all equipment can be combined arbitrarily and the earthmoving or handling machine must be tailored to the type of work planned for it. Our sales and service partners and our product experts are always delighted to help you assemble the new team member for your fleet.

Configuring construction machines made easy

From selecting an engine and assistance systems to special paint – the construction machinery configurator delivers a massive range of combinations.

Make the configurator into your excavator configurator, wheel loader configurator or bulldozer configurator. We provide categories for every machine type for this purpose. For example, for configuring an excavator, you can select the boom and counterweight. For configuring a wheel loader, you can select the hoist unit you need.

Transparent prices are important to enable us to communicate face to face. All equipment is displayed with recommended retail prices, which are then added to deliver the provisional total price of the machine.

When you are satisfied with your configuration, you can contact your adviser who will then take charge of what happens next. He will check the performance of the machine that you have selected, provide advice if you have any questions and will also prepare a final quotation. Your sales and service partner will be delighted to hear from you to discuss your new team member!

How does the configurator work?

The configurator is designed for intuitive use and will guide you through the process step-by-step. When you click through the possible options, you will see the price of your future team member and you can also generate your unique configuration code, known as the Liebherr code. This code enables you to open your finished configuration at any time.

1. Selecting the machine

Currently, there are around 50 wheeled and crawler excavators, wheel loaders, telescopic loaders, crawler tractors, articulated dump trucks and handling machines available for configuration. The selection of machines is being extended all the time. Make the configurator into your excavator configurator, wheel loader configurator or crawler tractor configurator.

Select the machines by clicking on the required product category at the top of the page. When you have selected the model you require, the system will take you straight to the product configuration page. Alternatively, you can start the construction machine configuration process from the product detail page for the machine concerned. You can identify the machines that have been enabled for configuration by the fact that they have a yellow "Configurator" button.

2. The configuration

On the configuration start page, you will see the machine you have selected with the following options:

  • Configure: Go to the configuration process
  • Summary: Summary of the current selection
  • Attachments/Service: Add an attachment or services
  • Print/PDF Download: This opens the configuration in a practical PDF file, which you can print or forward
  • Generate Liebherr code: Your unique code to enable you to open your configuration at a later time
  • Contact consultant: Ask a question or send the configuration to your sales and service partner

3. Add attachments and services

Have you finished the configuration of your machine? Add a service or an attachment to your product. A whole range of grabs, buckets and quick coupling systems is available, as well as warranty packages and service contracts.

4. Your configuration in practical PDF format

Back on the configuration start page, the product configuration can be exported by clicking on “Print/PDF Download”. The Liebherr code is the unique code for your machine and should be saved if you wish to open the configuration again at a later time. The Liebherr code It is also an ideal way of sharing your configuration with colleagues, friends or your sales partner.

Please be patient, we are working on ensuring that every single machine in our earthmoving and material handling equipment portfolio will soon appear in the configurator.
