Litronic-MMG (Moisture Measurement Gateway)

The Liebherr Litronic-MMG is a modern and robust moisture measurement system for real-time measurement of the moisture content of various materials. It processes the measurement

values recorded by connected sensor and converts them directly into moisture values expressed as a percentage. Thanks to standardised M12 and M8 connectors, the system can be easily installed using the plug-and-play principle. Parameterisation is carried out conveniently via the WIO software.

The measurement is based on the principle of capacitance determination in a high-frequency leakage field, thereby achieving high accuracy, robustness and reproducibility. Calibration using a reference method is required prior to use. Once calibration has been successfully completed, additional systems

can be set up in exactly the same way, or components without compromising measurement quality.

Thanks to numerous interfaces, the system can be easily integrated into various control and automation systems.

- Indirect measurement method: Capacitance measurement in a high-frequency scattered field. This method takes advantage of the different permittivities of water and a wide variety of materials (solids and liquids).

- Fully reproducible sensor: Thanks to the built-in microprocessor, no recalibration is necessary when replacing a sensor.

- Minimalist design: The system is ideally suited for single-sensor applications

- Interfaces: USB-C (for on-site configuration), HART (for remote configuration), 4–20 mA analog output (moisture signal), optional: IO-Link (retrieval of all measured values and main settings)

- Plug & Play: Thanks to industrial M8 and M12 connectors, connecting the power supply and sensors is intuitive and error-free. The standardized USB-C interface offers maximum compatibility. No driver installation is required to configure the gateway using the WIO software.
