First in Germany: Sönke Jordt takes delivery of an LTM 1100-5.3 with LICCON3 control
The first LTM 1100-5.3 mobile crane has been added to the crane fleet of the northern German company Sönke Jordt Maschinen- und Schwertransport GmbH & CO. KG. After the LTM 1110-5.2, Liebherr has now delivered the second crane model with the new LICCON3 control to a customer. The crane’s compact design and high mobility due to flexible axle loads were the main reasons for the purchase.

Jandt adds second LTM 1250-5.1 to its crane fleet - first use for demanding tandem lift
Two Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 mobile cranes from Jandt Kranvermietung GmbH in Bielefeld played a key role in unloading wind power components at the port of Berenbusch in Bückeburg, Lower Saxony. The heaviest parts, the generator and the hub, had to be lifted by the two 250-tonne cranes in tandem lifts. Precise coordination between the crane operators was crucial here. One of the two LTM 1250-5.1 cranes mastered the challenging lifts as first use.

Looking ahead: Kran-Maurer modernises and grows
Kran-Maurer GmbH is modernising its crane fleet. In recent months, the South German company from Göppingen has taken delivery of the Liebherr LTM 1050-3.1, LTM 1090-4.2 and LTM 1110-5.1 mobile cranes. This was followed in March by an LTM 1230-5.1. The delivery of an LTC 1050-3.1 is scheduled for April. An LTM 1300-6.3 has already been ordered from Liebherr, which will further strengthen Kran-Maurer's fleet.

Biggest order in the history of Saudi Liebherr Co.
This order is making history: the Saudi Arabian company AMHEC has ordered 55 new cranes from Liebherr. It is the largest order that Saudi Liebherr Co. has ever received. Mr. Abdullah Al-Suwaiket, Chief Executive Officer at AMHEC said: “Our company's purchase decision is based on many years of positive experience with mobile cranes from Liebherr. Heavyweight loading begins – two new cranes for Flossdorf
In January, a new Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane, one of the most modern powerhouses on the mobile crane market, rolled into Bad Neuenahr in Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. Its destination: the company Dietmar Flossdorf GmbH & Ko. KG. The new arrival is the second machine of this type that the crane and heavy-duty logistics company has added to its fleet, significantly expanding its capacities. The convoy from Ehingen included the 8-axle crane, the transporters for its complete equipment and the escort vehicles, as well as a brand new LTM 1110-5.2. Flossdorf is thus putting its first crane equipped with the LICCON3 control system into service.

Twelve mobile cranes in operation during the construction of a pipeline in Delft
A dozen strong for the energy transition: twelve mobile cranes with lifting capacities ranging from 90 to 400 tonnes were used to build a pipeline in Delft in the Netherlands. The mobile cranes lifted a pipeline with a total length of one kilometre in order to bring it into the correct position for insertion into the ground. The pipeline is part of the district heating network, which is currently being expanded in order to convert heating systems to sustainable energy sources.

Wittrock and Ulferts groups order another mobile crane package from Liebherr
Dozens of branches throughout Germany, long-established companies, well-known names in the crane, heavy haulage and work platform industry such as Herrmann & Wittrock, Titschkus & Wittrock, Ulferts, and Ulferts & Wittrock – at the end of last year, this corporate network once again ordered a crane package from Liebherr. Around 50 mobile cranes with three to six axles will be delivered to various locations throughout Germany from spring to autumn.

Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 installs chiller units against the backdrop of the Frankfurt skyline
Kastor and Pollux are twin towers in Frankfurt am Main. They bear the names of an inseparable pair of brothers from Greek mythology. The two towers form the "Forum" high-rise complex on the Platz der Einheit and are part of the Frankfurt skyline. In mid-January, a crane boom with a length of over 120 metres was added to the silhouette – an LTM 1650-8.1 from crane and heavy haulage contractor Eisele AG replaced chiller units on Kastor. Assembly and removal of the eight-axle crane, as well as all the lifting work, had to be completed over one weekend.

The Illertissen Caritas Association (illerSENIO) is currently building Germany's largest care home in Vöhringen using a timber-hybrid modular construction. In parallel to the reinforced concrete corpus, 158 completely finished residents' rooms were prefabricated at a specialist timber construction company. A Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane from Schußmann Kranservice GmbH coupled the modules and carcass.

Expertise and Liebherr power in a two-pack
A refurbished lock gate at the Gambsheim Rhine lock (France) on Europe's most important waterway had to be reinstalled in the large lock system last autumn after ten months of repairs. The company commissioned with the crane work, MSG Krandienst GmbH, based in Kehl (Baden-Württemberg), arrived on site with four mobile cranes. MSG sent two of its state-of-the-art Liebherr mobile cranes to the lock structure on the French side of the Rhine to lift the 84-tonne gate into place.

A first in Mexico: Gruas y Maniobras del Bajio takes delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1
The crane and transport company Gruas y Maniobras del Bajio S.A. de C.V. (GMB) has taken delivery of the first Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane in Mexico. The new 700-tonne crane will significantly strengthen the crane fleet of the company based in Santiago de Querétaro in central Mexico. To date, a 350-tonner was its largest mobile crane.

Due to damage to the Hammesberg Wupper Bridge in Wuppertal Heckinghausen, built in 1965, it is now being replaced by a new bridge. After dismantling the old structure, two large Liebherr mobile cranes – an LTM 1650-8.1 from Autokrane Schares GmbH and an LTM 1450-8.1 from Dornseiff Autokrane & Schwertransporte GmbH – lifted eight 85-tonne precast concrete elements onto the abutments over the Wupper.

More lifting power, less CO2 – new LTM 1070-4.2 for Bruns in Magdeburg
Bruns Schwerlast GmbH purchased three new Liebherr cranes last year. In addition to an LTR 1100 and an LTM 1050-3.1, an LTM 1070-4.2 was recently added to the crane hire company’s fleet. Equipped with ECOmode and ECOdrive, the latter model is characterised by reduced fuel consumption and lower noise emissions.
