Prillaman’s Crane & Rigging, Inc. receives a Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 mobile crane at Conexpo 2026

Liebherr delivers an LTM 1250-5.1 mobile crane to Prillaman’s Crane & Rigging, Inc. at Conexpo 2026. This is the eighth Liebherr crane in their fleet, further cementing the strong relationship between the two family-owned companies.

Liebherr at IFAT 2026 in Munich

At IFAT 2026, the world’s leading exhibition for water, wastewater, waste and raw materials management, which takes place in Munich from 4 to 7 May 2026, Liebherr will be represented with a stand covering approximately 406 m². In Hall C5, booth 151, Liebherr will be exhibiting machines specifically designed for use in waste management and recycling.

Women at Liebherr – focusing on self empowerment

As an employer, Liebherr places great importance on supporting employees in their personal and professional development and on creating a working environment based on trust, holding together and freedom to act. One example of this commitment is the “Women at Liebherr” initiative. As part of it, an event focusing on self empowerment for women took place at the Biberach site end of 2025.

Alpine drilling: Liebherr machines heighten reservoir dam

The Wurtenspeicher reservoir is the core element in the Fragant power plant group in Carinthia (Austria). In order to increase the volume of the reservoir, the height of the dam is being increased by 7 metres. The company Züblin is using the LB 45 drilling rig and the HS 8070 HD duty cycle crawler crane from Liebherr for this construction project. At 1,700 metres, the alpine location will be a challenge – even before the deep foundation work can begin.

ECD NY Inc. purchases multiple Liebherr machines at Conexpo 2026

At Conexpo 2026, ECD NY Inc. purchases a Liebherr HS 8200 duty cycle crawler crane equipped with an LRH 600 lead system and BAT 320.1 drill drive, as well as four Liebherr THS crawler concrete pumps. This acquisition further provides the extensive ECD NY fleet with efficient and safe equipment for their drilling services.

Liebherr sees stable growth in the 2025 business year

The Liebherr Group ended 2025 with a revenue of €14,772 million. Compared with the previous year, the company recorded a revenue growth of €150 million or 1.0 %. The Group continued investing at the high level of the previous two years with investments totalling €1,059 million.

Two LTM 1230-5.1 cranes lift pipe bridge over motorway

In a spectacular night-time operation, a pipe bridge weighing around 60 tonnes was installed over the A41 motorway in Rotkreuz, Switzerland (Canton of Zug). The operation required an enormous logistical effort and was part of the construction of a new district heating network.
