Combustion engines

Powerful: our product portfolio of combustion engines for tractors, harvesters, and sprayers ranges from 240 kW to 900kW

Fuel-efficient: with innovative SCRonly technology, our engines impress in day-to-day life with low fuel consumption and a low cooling requirement

Low maintenance: long maintenance intervals of over 1,000 operating hours ensure low operating costs.

Modularity: our base engines can be equipped with different exhaust gas aftertreatment systems to meet the required emission standards, including the most stringent global requirements

D976 diesel engine

The D976 is one of the best-in-class combustion engines for off-road applications. Thanks to its robust design and Liebherr’s extensive experience, this 6-cylinder in-line engine is perfectly suited for the toughest environmental conditions that are common in agriculture and forestry.

Injection systems

Flexible: different housing geometries and nozzle variants enable a wide range of variations in product design

Reliable: an innovative 3-way control valve enables stable multiple injections with high accuracy

Robust: manufactured with solid materials, the injection components are particularly robust against various grades of, and aggressive fuels in harsh environmental conditions, such as dust and dirt

Axial piston pumps and motors

Versatile: the modular design of the hydraulic pumps and motors allows for a flexible use in a wide range of applications

Durable: the robust construction and technical design of the components ensure a long life cycle

Compact: an optimal utilisation of the installation space enables a high power density of all hydraulic units

DPVG axial piston pump

The axial piston pumps for closed circuits are characterised in particular by a hydrostatic swash plate bearing and a load-independent stability of the rotary group. This makes them ideal for equipment with frequent and dynamic load changes, such as harvesters. Due to their high reliability and long service life, they can withstand toughest conditions.

DMVA axial piston motors

Single and double motor

The DMVA axial piston motor in swash plate design can be used as a single or double motor. It is particularly characterised by the fact that each drive unit can be independently adjusted by up to 22 degrees in the open and closed circuits, resulting in increased efficiency and power density. The axial piston motor is specifically suitable, among other things, for traction and work drives in forwarders or harvesters. In addition, the use of two small rotary groups, instead of a single large one, in a tandem design allows for higher speeds in a confined space.

Travel drives

The Liebherr travel drives convince with a special robust construction and are designed for a long service life. The special feature of travel drives from the LPI series is that they can be designed with two, three or four stages according to customer requirements. Due to the low weight and reduced installation space, the LPI drive is perfectly suited for agricultural and forestry machines.

Swivelling drives

Liebherr swivelling drives are used in harvesters and excavators of all types and are designed for highly dynamic loads. The mostly two-stage planetary gearboxes are usually hydraulically driven but can also be equipped with an electric motor. They impress with their high reliability and long service life.

Electric travel drives

Liebherr electric travel drives consist of gearboxes and matching electric motor. These offer you several advantages that score particularly well in projects in agriculture and forestry, as well as when working in biosphere and environmental areas:

Slew drives

Slew drives are very compact with a high power density. This design is ideal for transferring high forces and torques whilst requiring a small installation space.

Exceptional durable: slew drives are very robust – blows or shocks, for example caused by felling, are no problem

Maintenance-free and therefore time saving due to solid lubrication

Precise positioning due to prestressed track system

Slewing bearings

Slewing bearings are particularly suitable for the adjacent structures of the undercarriages in forestry and agricultural machines. Specifically single-row four-point bearings are a perfect fit since they are light in weight.

Effective and economic design: cost efficient and robust

Charging vehicles and machines with zero local emissions: The mobile Liduro Power Port is a power source for electric vehicles and machines on off-grid sites or sites with limited grid access. It complies to emission regulations and offers long-term investment security with a best price-performance ratio.

Battery-based, 40 – 160 kW / kWh

Power supply and peak shaving: with a constant output of 40 ‒ 160 kW, the LPO offers easy access to power providing various input and output lines: 16 – 125 A

The Power Port can be used to peak shave the energy consumption of your machines with high peak loads and to downsize grid connections.
