Liebherr RL series powers 2 GW platforms for Dragados Offshore

The RL 2600 cranes have been acquired by Dragados Offshore, located in Spain. With a maximum lifting capacity of 35 tonnes and an outreach of 45 metres, the crane is perfectly suited for maintenance and supply operations in the offshore sector. Its versatility allows it to handle a wide range of tasks, from routine maintenance to supply operations, ensuring that offshore platforms remain productive and well-maintained. Compact and powerful: R. Kölch & Sohn GmbH takes delivery of LTM 1090-4.2

Alexander and Kurt Kölch paid a visit to Liebherr-Werk Ehingen in July 2024 with very good reason – the owners of Richard Kölch & Sohn GmbH were in Ehingen to take delivery of the keys for their new LTM 1090-4.2. After receiving induction training on the mobile crane, the LTM 1090-4.2 immediately set off from the manufacturing plant to its first job, the erection of a prefabricated house.

“Just a bike trip away!”: an unusual journey to the Liebherr production sites in Europe

Loïc Flochlay, commercial manager at the Liebherr authorized dealer, SOMTP Bretagne and Alexandre Leroux, managing director of Liziard, a company based in the French Department of Finistère, realised an extraordinary idea last May. The two men travelled by bike from Quimper in the far west of Brittany across half of Europe to Vienna in eight days. They visited various Liebherr production sites on their 2,400 km trip. They christened their exciting project the Liebherr Europe Tour 2024.

Good things come in threes: Audubon adds new LR 1700-1.0 to its fleet

For the construction and maintenance of wind turbines, Audubon’s field services business has expanded its fleet with an additional LR 1700-1.0. The 700-tonne crane incorporates all the innovations added to Liebherr’s crawler crane range in recent years.

Haslach achieved successful deployment with a lot of planning: several prestressed concrete trusses weighing just under 100 tonnes were installed in the Austrian town of Bludenz for the construction of a new hall at the Getzner textile factory. 18 Liebherr cranes involved in replacing Germany’s second longest road bridge

The Rader High Bridge spans the Kiel Canal along Germany’s A7 motorway, the northbound high-speed link from Hamburg to Denmark. The bridge is to be replaced and widened over the next few years. 18 Liebherr cranes, ranging from the 65 K.1 to the 150 EC-B, are taking care of the lifting work. Some of the cranes have been erected in the water.

Slurry wall construction in Naples

The company SAOS s.r.l. constructs slurry walls for infrastructure projects such as underground railways, road tunnels and high-speed railway lines throughout Italy. The duty cycle crawler crane HS 8130.1 with the cutter LSC 8-18 from Liebherr has been working on the "Parco San Paolo" underground station in the Campanian capital of Naples for over a year. A major benefit for the customer is the high flexibility of the carrier machine. In just a short time the duty cycle crawler crane can be converted, for example, to grab operation.
