Customer-oriented production
As a development partner, Liebherr offers customised control cabinets. We manufacture one-offs, as well as small-scale and medium-scale quantities. We design these according to the respective requirements, such as a higher degree of protection or special installation dimensions. We also design customised automation solutions and electric drive systems for stationary and mobile applications.

Power up to the megawatt range
At the site in Biberach an der Riß (Germany), Liebherr develops and designs a wide range of complex control systems and control cabinets. The drive power installed in the control cabinets currently reaches up to 4,500kW. Here, Liebherr relies on roughly 70 years of experience in the low-voltage and medium-voltage range.

Standards and guidelines
Liebherr is well acquainted with country specific requirements of control cabinets. We ensure compliance with the regulations in relation to electrical and functional safety, as well as electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). For the European market we offer control cabinets with CE certification, and with UL approval for the North American market. We also possess vast experience in the application of functional safety in accordance with EN13849.
