Zhejiang Liebherr Zhongche Transportation Systems Co., Ltd. Receives Its First IRIS Certificate

Recently, Zhejiang Liebherr Zhongche Transportation Systems Co., Ltd., a joint venture of Liebherr-Transportation Systems GmbH & Co KG, Korneuburg (Austria), and Guangzhou Zhongche Railway Vehicles Equipment Joint-Stock Co., Ltd. based in Zhuji, Zhejiang Province (China), has been certified for the first time according to the International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS). The auditors were impressed by the degree of maturity of the operational processes the company had implemented in its engineering and production departments.

Zhejiang Liebherr Zhongche Transportation Systems Co., Ltd. develops and produces air conditioning systems for rail vehicles, and supplies mostly Chinese manufacturers. The successful IRIS certification is an important step in further expanding the joint venture’s business activities.
