The construction trade fair bC India has started on 15 December at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida (New Delhi). At the Liebherr booth Jan Liebherr welcomed the delegation of the opening tour which was headed by Dr. Martin Hanz, Deputy Ambassador of the German Embassy in New-Delhi and Eugen Egetenmeir, Managing Director of Messe München International.
bCIndia is the most important Indian construction fair in the current year and bears a special significance for the local construction industry. High expectations wake infrastructure projects which have been announced by the newly elected Government of India. Since May 2014 India is ruled by the administration of Prime Minister Modi.
Through December 18, Liebherr presents in New Delhi state-of-the-art construction equipment for the Indian market. Exhibits at the outdoor booth 145 include the tower crane 85 EC-B 5i, the mobile crane LTM 1220-5.2 as well as the wheel loaders L 550 and L 580.

Liebherr is increasing the overall service life of its Fibre ropes from 14 to 16 years, with the decisive period of use rising to up to 12 years. This is based on multi-year ageing trials on test rigs and analyses of ropes already in field. The new ruling applies automatically to all new ropes and those already in the field. This step forms part of Liebherr's ongoing path towards establishing Fibre technology as the new standard in the tower crane market.
