On 19th September 2014, the Liebherr Group opened the new headquarters of Liebherr-Sverige AB in Västerås. About 200 guests celebrated the opening of the sales and service organisation's new building. Liebherr earthmoving and special deep foundation machines in Sweden will be sold, distributed and serviced there.
Since 2006, the Liebherr Group has been represented in Sweden with a sales and service organisation for earthmoving and special deep foundation machines. Until now, Liebherr-Sverige AB conducted its sales and service operations from a rented location in the north east of Västerås. On 19th September, the Group officially opened its own, new company site directly by the E18 motorway near the Västerås airport.
The new building has 8,000 m² of space, of which 1,500 m² is allocated to offices and 1,000 m² to a large workshop that, with its 20 tonne crane, provides the means to service and repair machines with an operating weight in excess of 100 tonnes. The product programme of Liebherr-Sverige AB covers mobile and crawler excavators, wheel loaders, crawlers, telehandlers, crawler cranes, cable excavators and special deep foundation machines.
