Following an on-site audit, Liebherr Aerospace Saline Inc., based in Saline, Michigan (USA) has obtained the Part-145 certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). This CAAC Form AAC-038 release adds to the already existing FAA, EASA and TCCA authorization capabilities and represents an important milestone in establishing a global spares pooling concept. It provides even more options for the global customer base of Liebherr-Aerospace.
The initial CAAC capabilities represent 262 individual series of part numbers across the ATA chapters 21 (air conditioning and pressurization), 27 (flight controls), 29 (hydraulic power), 30 (ice and rain protection), 32 (landing gear), 36 (pneumatic), 52 (doors), 65 (tail rotor drive) and 67 (rotors flight control) for Airbus single-aisle and long range aircraft as well as for Airbus Helicopters, Embraer E-Jet, Bombardier CRJ and Falcon Jet aircraft.
