With DIP (dresser-independent profile modifications), Liebherr-Verzahntechnik GmbH has developed a generating grinding method that, for the first time, allows for profile modification during dressing using a profile dressing roll, thereby combining flexibility with short dressing times.

Production capacity expanded with new plant
Liebherr-Verzahntechnik GmbH has relocated its Chinese production site to new premises in the Yongchuan district of the Chongqing Free Trade Zone, more than doubling its production area in the process. The new site offers ideal conditions for expanding the production of gear hobbing, generating gear grinding, and gear skiving machines for the Chinese market from 2026 onwards.
