Financial Reporting and Planning AnalystBiggleswade
A vacancy has arisen within our Finance department based in Biggleswade for a Financial Reporting and Planning Analyst.
The role contributes to the success and profitability of Liebherr-Great Britain and Liebherr-Construction Equipment Ireland by analysing monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual financial reports and forecasts. Providing ongoing monitoring and controlling of actual costs against budgets whilst ensuring outstanding customer service at all times and working within the Company’s key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership.
Your Responsibilities:
• Working alongside Senior Management and/or Directors to aid the production of Company forecast, including sales revenue, sales units, overheads and stock volumes
• Providing support to Senior Management and operational teams with Profit and Loss analysis (KER reporting).
• Maintaining the forecasting system, in terms of alignment to current allocation keys and current products in the portfolio .
• Ensuring that actual vs. budgets are monitored and controlled.
• Analysing of sales by Geographical location (UMS).
• Maintaining system chart of accounts, BI reporting and interface with group reporting systems.
• Ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded in line with Liebherr International policy and IFRS.
• Ensuring revenue is recognised in the correct accounting period, liaising with the business on an ongoing basis to confirm delivery status and recognition criteria.
• Managing and maintain the company stock schedule, including the monthly reporting of this data to the Liebherr Group (BES).
• Providing assistance and support to other Liebherr-Great Britain accounting and administration employees.
• Reconciling allocated balance sheet accounts accurately on a monthly basis.
• Providing assistance to the operational divisions of the business.
• Building effective relationships with both Liebherr-Great Britain employees and affiliated companies, including the parent company, supporting the company objectives through the timely delivery of reports and associated information.
• Supporting other employees in the business to ensure that Liebherr-Great Britain achieves its targets.
• Providing management information to facilitate informed business decisions.
• Alerting senior management to any issues / errors discovered in a timely manner.
• Identifying any improvements to systems that are required and communicate them to senior management with suggested solutions.
Your Profile:
The successful candidate will require the following:
• Experience in a similar accounting role for a minimum of 3 years
• AAT Level 4 Qualification or equivalent
• Ability to use excel at intermediate to high level (to include look ups and pivot tables).
• Able to demonstrate ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment.
• Experienced with accounting software.
