Registration takes place via the registration form on this page. Our customers nominate a mobile crane operator who registers using the form. A MyLiebherr account with a registered business relationship to the product area "Mobile and crawler cranes" is required for registration. After you have registered, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to upload your application video/photo.
Show us why you have what it takes to be the crane champion and why you are worthy of the throne of crane operators. The link in your confirmation email will take you to our upload portal. Please upload your application video/photo there and enter the code assigned to you in the e-mail.

No, only crane operators can take part if they are competing for one of our customers.
When the voting phase begins, you can share your uploaded video with your community. Convince them to vote for your video once a day.
Based on the location of your company, you will be assigned to one of five regions for participation:
- North America
- South America
- Australia
- Europe
- Africa, Middle East and Asia
Depending on the number of votes and the jury rating, five people per region can qualify to take part in the preliminary round.
The preliminary decisions will take place in the following regions, depending on the company headquarters:
- North America: Newport News (USA)
- South America: Guaratinguetá (Brazil)
- Australia: Adelaide (Australia)
- Europe: Azuqueca de Henares (Spain)
- Africa, Middle East and Asia: Dammam (Saudi Arabia)
The five best crane operators from the preliminary rounds will be invited to the final in Ehingen (Germany) in November 2025.
In the Game of Cranes, all tasks are set in English.
If you have qualified for the preliminary round or the final, we will cover the costs of your journey. We will organise a hotel room for you for the duration of the preliminary rounds or the final. You can find more information on this in the conditions of participation when you register.
In the Game of Cranes, tasks are set exclusively in connection with Liebherr mobile cranes. All crane types from Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH, from the LTM 1070-4.2 to the LTM 1160-5.2, can be included. Crawler cranes are not part of the Game of Cranes.
