Service Manager - Offshore CranesPerth

Liebherr Maritime Cargo & Construction Division is seeking an experienced Service Manager for our Offshore Cranes. Reporting to the National Service Manager, in this role you will be responsible for the provision of high-level technical support and the provision of safe, effective and profitable field services to the Division and its Customers. This dynamic role is suited for someone with extensive experience in the industry and has knowledge of maritime cranes including container cranes, harbour, ship and gantry cranes etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Service Led Business development for Parts, Service and Engineering for Offshore Cranes.
• Maintain and enhance capabilities to ensure effective service delivery to customers and the Division.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members across multiple locations.
• Manage team workflow to support overall Service Department efficiency.
• Offer expert technical guidance and support to customers.
• Ensure thorough documentation, monitoring, and analysis of Liebherr equipment, focusing on modifications, reliability, and availability.
• Build and sustain strong customer relationships.
• Plan, implement, and monitor continuous improvement initiatives for service functions.
• Represent LAS at equipment performance and reliability review meetings as required.

About you

• Certificate III Mobile Plant Technology or Engineering (Mechanical) Diesel Fitter preferred
• Sound technical knowledge and experience with Liebherr maritime cranes and related equipment
• Shows capability in creating a sense of partnership and forging strong relationships.
• Ability to manage departmental P&L’s, quotes, WIP & invoicing; and to identify areas for improvement or additional business opportunity.
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Hold a current driver’s license.
