R 917 Compact – A class of its own

Maximum efficiency in confined spaces

As a new model on the market, the R 917 Compact stands out with a compact tail swing radius of only 1,700 mm.

This new development responds to increasing requirements and the growing number of urban jobsites.

Its compact design allows:

increased safety when working in confined spaces
maximum flexibility and mobility on the jobsite
as well as optimized transportability between different worksites

Compared to the R 915 Compact G8, the R 917 Compact G8 offers higher lifting and digging forces as well as improved performance. It represents the ideal compromise without needing to move up to the next model, the R 920 Compact.

The R 917 Compact G8 impresses with its high versatility and can be equipped with numerous attachments. As an option, the Liebherr hydraulic quick coupler system and the LIKUFIX quick change system are available.

With LIKUFIX, hydraulic and mechanical attachments can be changed safely and conveniently directly from the cab — for maximum productivity and outstanding operating comfort.
