AMM strengthens its leadership in mining with another Liebherr PR 776 Crawler Dozer
AMM was the first company in Spain to operate the Liebherr PR 776 Crawler Dozer, and already runs four machines of this type. With the addition of another PR 776, the company is further building on its productivity and efficiency on major mining projects – a logical next step in its growth strategy.
AMM was founded more than a decade ago and is headquartered in Murcia. The company works across earthworks, excavation, demolition, civil engineering, pipeline construction, and residential and non-residential building, and has contributed to major infrastructure projects in Spain and Portugal. Behind this stands a team of more than 300 specialists and a clear commitment to innovation and state-of-the-art machinery.
With the addition of the Liebherr PR 776 – one of the most advanced crawler dozers for mining and large-scale earthmoving – the Murcia-based company is strengthening its operational capacity. The strategic investment reflects AMM's commitment to innovation, productivity and continuous improvement, and supports the successful delivery of major projects in Spain and Portugal.
Like the rest of the fleet, the new PR 776 runs around the clock – primarily in the quarry, where it prepares material for loading and transport to the construction site. The investment forms part of AMM's growth strategy: the fleet is to become continuously more capable to meet the industry's toughest challenges.

About the PR 736 G8
The fleet currently comprises the Liebherr PR 744, PR 746, PR 764 and PR 766 Crawler Dozers, together with four PR 776 units. It also includes a Liebherr L 550 Wheel Loader, and delivery of three Liebherr A 918 Compact Litronic wheeled excavators is expected shortly. AMM's confidence in Liebherr technology has grown steadily over the years – thanks to advanced engineering, high productivity, efficient fuel consumption and long service life, backed by reliable support from Liebherr Ibérica's customer service.
The Liebherr PR 776 stands out for its high thrust and pulling force, making it ideal for moving large volumes of rock. Its hydrostatic drive allows for stepless speed adjustment and constant power transmission, even under the most demanding conditions. Precision and manoeuvrability also help the operator with grading and backfilling.
The machine also convinces on running costs: compared with other crawler dozers in its class, the PR 776 saves around 20% on fuel, with an average consumption of just 55 litres per operating hour. This is achieved through the constant engine speed, the hydrostatic drive, and the demand-controlled load-sensing hydraulic system.
