Liebherr New Zealand relocated its operations to the new Sales and Service Centre at East Tamaki near Auckland in May 2015. The official opening ceremony under the motto "Committed to Your Success" was celebrated on Friday the 31st of July 2015 and was attended by numerous customers and other guests. Liebherr uses this location to serve customers and potential clients locally.
The brand new facility has just been purpose built and enables Liebherr to provide their customers with excellent service. The premises include a spacious workshop with internal gantry crane, a wash bay and a large spare parts warehouse. The branch covers 1,000m² of office and workshop space and has a yard of 1,600m².
The ceremony was attended by over 70 customers, guests and Liebherr staff. Several machines were exhibited, including Liebherr’s unique fuel-efficient wheel loaders and Liebherr’s market leading mobile cranes.

Permit-free from south to north: new Liebherr LTM 1055-3.3 mobile crane for Schlamann-Autokrane GmbH
The LTM 1055-3.3 is the second of four new Liebherr mobile cranes ordered by Schlamann-Autokrane GmbH this year. The new 55-tonne crane is the lightest 3-axle all-terrain crane on the market: it travelled from the Liebherr plant in Ehingen, Upper Swabia, to Nienburg in Lower Saxony without the need for complex authorisation procedures.

Liebherr-Canada delivers new R 9150 excavator to Hammerstone Quarry
In June, Hammerstone Infrastructure Materials took delivery of an R 9150 excavator. This delivery brings Hammerstone’s number of these 150-tonne-class Liebherr excavators to three, with all of these machines working at Hammerstone’s Muskeg Quarry, one of Western Canada’s biggest limestone quarries.

Game of Cranes returns: Liebherr is looking for the world’s best mobile crane operator
Following its successful debut last year, Game of Cranes is returning: companies from around the world can once again nominate their best crane operators. Participants will demonstrate precision, dexterity and nerves of steel in a series of demanding challenges. Community voting, evaluation by a Liebherr expert panel and five regional qualifying rounds will pave the way to the grand final in Ehingen in 2027.
