Innovation, successes and new benchmarks: The Liebherr year 2025 in focus

The year in review

We began the 2026 financial year with a solid order backlog of almost 8.3 billion euros. This provides us with a good foundation, and I am confident that we will achieve the goal of increasing revenue by at least 3 %.

Steffen Günther, member of the executive board of the Liebherr Group

2025 was a year full of innovation, bold developments and impressive successes for the Liebherr Group. In an exciting review of the year, presenter Sebastian Höffner, together with Steffen Günther, member of the executive board, looks back at the highlights and challenges – and shows how the company has proven its strength and vision even in a dynamic environment.

The conversation focuses on the current business figures as well as key milestones that shaped 2025 – from technological breakthroughs to extraordinary moments on the international stage. The review highlights, among other things, the autonomous wheel loader, with the latest progress presented by Dr Manuel Bös, which was awarded the Innovation Award at Bauma 2025.

Another highlight was the final of the first world championship for mobile crane operators: 'Game of Cranes' attracted international attention with spectacular performances and impressively demonstrated the high level of expertise of the participants from all over the world.

Liebherr also set a benchmark in the field of domestic appliances with BluRoX technology: This innovative solution for greater energy efficiency was honoured with the German Sustainability Award and is setting new standards in the sector.
