As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the society in which we live and to conducting our business in a sustainable manner, Liebherr-MCCtec GmbH is a participant in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). The UNGC has a vision of a sustainable economy that benefits all people, communities and markets, both today and in the future.
Outstanding health promotion
Liebherr’s site in Nenzing has been awarded the Austrian seal of quality for workplace health promotion (WHP) for the years 2026 to 2028. This confirms the integral and sustainably embedded nature of workplace health promotion.
Workplace health management has been firmly established since 2022. Focus lies on structured measures, the active involvement of employees and the long-term integration of health in the corporate culture.

Unplugged
For years, we have been working across all sites and cross-divisionally on alternative drive systems and are jointly developing solutions for a range of applications. The maritime portfolio now comprises a wide range of different crane types, all of which are 100 % electrically powered.
We are paving the way in construction machines too: we were the first manufacturer in the world to launch fully electric deep foundation machines and crawler cranes and have been expanding our range ever since.
