Liebherr presents its latest mining technology at MINExpo 2024

At this year’s MINExpo, Liebherr is presenting advancements from its mining, earthmoving, mobile and crawler cranes, components and aerospace and transportation product segments. The company has made a number of product announcements during the exhibition, including the unveiling of its autonomous battery-electric T 264 haul truck, the new PR 776 Generation 8 dozer, and the expansion of its integrated technology portfolio, IoMine.

Liebherr will present its continuously extending customer service solutions for the APAC region from September 24 to 26 at booth 323 in Singapore.

Innovative technologies: Liebherr at InnoTrans 2024

At the leading international trade fair for transport technology InnoTrans 2024, Liebherr will be presenting solutions from its product segments of transport technology and hydraulic excavators from September 24 to 27 in Berlin (Germany). The exhibits will be on display in the outdoor area, booth O/170. In addition to the products on display, Liebherr’s presentation will focus on sustainability and service.

Liebherr maintains HVAC systems for Toronto Rocket Subway fleet

Liebherr has once again been contracted by the Toronto Transit Commission to maintain 40 HVAC systems. The preventive services are carried out as part of a maintenance program and ensure sustained operation of the units.

Liebherr has been working on HVAC systems that use climate-friendly refrigerants. CO₂, propane and the air-cycle technology stand out in particular.

Liebherr enters Kazakh railway market with air-conditioning units

Liebherr Transportation Systems (China) Co., Ltd. will supply 550 HVAC systems to the rail vehicle manufacturer Stadler Rail Group. The air-conditioning systems are to be installed until 2030 in sleeper and couchette coaches ordered by the Federal Railways of Kazakhstan (KTZ).

Liebherr enters General Terms Agreement with AAR CORP.

Liebherr-Aerospace and AAR signed a long-term general terms agreement. The terms of the deal include MRO services on Liebherr products at AAR locations as well as a power-by-the-hour back-to-back service for several operators.

Liebherr presents solutions for aviation at Farnborough International Airshow 2024

At Farnborough International Airshow 2024, Liebherr-Aerospace will present from July 22 to 26 its wide range of capabilities in hall 4 at booth no. 4918. Innovative solutions for local, decentralized hydraulic supply, modular electromechanical drives and a compressor for fuel cell technology for on-board energy supply will be for example on display.

Additive manufacturing: Liebherr reaches major milestone

Liebherr-Aerospace has made the next major step regarding additive manufacturing of parts with increased complexity for aerospace application. The first-tier supplier has successfully integrated a 3D-printed flex shaft in the Airbus A350 high lift system. The unit has been approved by Airbus as well as by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency EASA for serial production.
