Liebherr R 938 crawler excavator specially produced for Ghent Dredging

At 6 a.m., the Liebherr R 938 crawler excavator starts work at Béthune river port. The excavator, developed and produced by Liebherr in Colmar (France), is deployed on its own GD I pontoon for dredging work on the inland canal in this northern French town. The 45-ton crawler excavator was specially adapted for this application.

Liebherr RL 2600 crane elevates offshore capabilities in Azerbaijan

A major international energy operator is acquiring a Liebherr RL 2600 offshore crane for deployment at a key offshore production facility in the Caspian Sea. The RL series offers a compact design for fixed and floating installations. The crane will be installed on a new compression platform and includes LiMain for remote maintenance.

Germany’s largest underground project: Liebherr cranes play a central role in the construction of Hamburg’s U5 line

Hamburg is currently delivering Germany’s largest underground project with the construction of the U5 underground line. 18 Liebherr tower cranes are deployed on the first construction section between City Nord and Bramfeld. Liebherr LR 11000 dismantles bridge in Ulm

A Liebherr LR 11000 crawler crane was used to dismantle a large road bridge in Ulm. The demolition work was subject to enormous time pressure, as a large part of the dilapidated structure crossed several railway tracks, requiring the railway line to be completely closed.
