Last week, Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH welcomed their customers from the construction industry at the factory in Vorarlberg. Under the motto “Liebherr Meets Friends“, customer days of Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH took place last Friday and Saturday. About 900 customers from all over the world visited the factory in Austria - despite poor weather conditions.
Liebherr introduced three world premieres in the field of special deep foundation equipment with a varied programme: the LRB 355 piling and drilling rig, the HS 8130 HD duty cycle crawler crane and the first hydraulic vibrator that had completely been designed and built by Liebherr.
In the specially designed technology pavilion, Liebherr demonstrated their innovative technologies, like the simulator for construction machinery or the hydraulic hybrid drive Pactronic®. These technologies were presented in a one-hour-lasting multimedia show. After machine demonstrations and technology presentations, an evening show with Liebherr machines took place. Duty cycle crawler cranes as well as piling and drilling rigs were used for mixing a cocktail.
With this year’s customer days Liebherr strengthened its strong bonds and long-lasting partnership with national and international customers.

The crane and logistics company Henneberger Schwerlast e.K. has acquired a Liebherr mobile crane LTM 1100-5.3. The ability to carry up to 16.9 tonnes of counterweight on public roads and the vehicle’s narrow width of just 2.55 metres were the decisive factors in the purchase.

Through the basalt with ‘Mjölnir’ – Viking machine drilling in Mexico
Whilst on a trip to Europe, Olga Sánchez, the director of the Mexican company Grupo Olsa, discovered the Viking culture. Their impressive power inspired her to use an equally powerful drilling rig for deep foundation work on the AIFA-Pachuca railway project in her home country. This gave rise to the idea of the ‘Mjölnir’ Viking machine, which took shape with the Liebherr LB 25.

ESB Kranverleih Transport u. Hebetechnik GmbH is has taken another step in the modernise of its fleet with the acquisition of a new LTM 1055-3.3 featuring LICCON3 control.
