Electrical turbo-compressors made by Liebherr for next generation of Chinese fuel cell powered cars

Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS has been selected by Shanghai Truwin Energy Technology Co. Ltd. (China) to provide electrical turbo-compressors and power electronics. The technology equipment for the next generation of fuel cell-powered cars will be tested by two major Chinese car manufacturers.

Shanghai Truwin Energy Technology Co., Ltd is a supplier of full power systems and components for fuel cell vehicles. Its aim is to provide one-stop service for Chinese fuel cell car manufacturers and actively promote the development of the fuel cell industry in China.

Liebherr-Aerospace has been already collaborating with Western automotive manufacturers to develop the future generation of fuel cell vehicles. Its technology complies with the severe requirements of fuel cell systems for the automotive industry.

This contract and cooperation with TruWin represents a very important milestone in Liebherr's long-term strategy to continuously enlarge its footprint in China.
