Tasks
- Acquisition, support, and consulting (also technical) of existing customers and sales partners
- Further development and positioning of the existing sales and service structure through organization of marketing activities
- Coordination of sales activities, coordination, and continuous updating of the forecast with distributors and sales companies
- Preparation of quotations and processing of tenders
- Evaluate, assess, and develop relevant markets and target customers
- Evaluate market specific needs and align product portfolio
- Conduct price and condition negotiations.
- Prepare evaluations (export and sales statistics, competitive comparisons, analyses, market studies, etc.)
- Participate in international and local trade fairs and other events
- Monitoring of projects and reporting
Skills
- Completed bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar with at least 5 years of professional experience in West-Africa
- Preferably you have already gained experience in a sales company
- Business fluent in French, English, Arabic as well as very good knowledge in all MS-Office applications
- Self-initiative, sense of responsibility and negotiation skills
- Customer-oriented and independent thinking and acting
- Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally (from 50%)
- Extensive travel to Sahel and Magreb countries
- Open minded personality with convincing appearance and intercultural competencies
