Liebherr presents the LTM 1250-5.1 five-axle Mobile Crane at Bauma Conexpo India 2016

Liebherr shows the 250-tonne mobile crane LTM 1250-5.1 at Bauma Conexpo India. The LTM 1250-5.1 is the most powerful mobile crane on 5 axles on the market. It is the third crane model on which Liebherr uses its innovative single-engine concept. In addition to a multi-functional folding jib, a 50 m fixed jib is also available. The Liebherr innovations VarioBase® and ECOmode mean that crane operators can use the LTM 1250-5.1 with even more safety and efficiency.

Greatest Level of Efficiency in All Applications: Liebherr Wheel Loader L 550 at Bauma Conexpo India 2016

At Bauma Conexpo India 2016, Liebherr is exhibiting the wheel loader L 550, an example of its expanding wheel loader product range for India and less / non regulated countries. Due to its hydrostatic driveline, the L 550 is – like all Liebherr wheel loaders – very fuel efficient, consuming up to 25 percent less fuel compared with conventional wheel loaders under the same conditions. The optimum weight distribution of the machine increases productivity at work, because larger buckets can be used to handle more material with each loading cycle

Liebherr-Projekt unter den besten drei beim HR Excellence Award 2016

Die Liebherr-Hausgeräte Ochsenhausen GmbH nahm am 2. Dezember 2016 an der Verleihung der HR Excellence Awards in Berlin teil. Der Zoo Dortmund hat eine neue Attraktion: Einen L 507 Stereo im Giraffen-Design. Der neue Stereolader ist nicht nur für die drei Angolagiraffen Himba, Gambela und Unsoni im Einsatz, sondern für die gesamte Zoo-Anlage. Klassische Aufgaben des L 507 Stereo sind unter anderem der Transport von Bodenbelägen wie Stroh für die Tiergehege oder das Bewegen von Baumstämmen zur Gehegegestaltung.

Toscani ermöglicht Umzug des Großseglers Alexander von Humboldt mit Liebherr-Kranen

Der 110 Jahre alte Großsegler Alexander von Humboldt zog im Oktober vom Bremer Europahafen zu seinem endgültigen Liegeplatz an der Schlachte, Bremens maritimer Meile, um. Davor war das berühmte Segelschiff zu einem Veranstaltungs- und Hotelschiff umgebaut worden. Wegen der begrenzten Durchfahrtshöhen der Brücken mussten die Mastanlagen für die Überführung demontiert und dann wieder aufgebaut werden. Dafür setzte das Kranunternehmen Toscani einen Liebherr-Mobilkran LTM 1200-5.1 und einen Liebherr-Seilbagger HS 853 HD ein.

Flexibel und zuverlässig: Franz Göstl GesmbH vertraut seit Jahrzehnten auf Laderaupen von Liebherr

Seit Mitte Oktober versieht die neue Laderaupe LR 636 in Niederösterreich ihren Dienst für die Franz Göstl GesmbH. Seit Jahrzehnten setzt das Unternehmen aus Sallingberg, das mit 98 Mitarbeitern zu den größten Arbeitgebern im Transport- und Baubereich in der Region zählt, auf Laderaupen aus dem Hause Liebherr.

Safety first - "Operation am offenen Herzen" einer Erdgasaufbereitungsanlage

Hohe Sicherheitsvorkehrungen bestimmten einen Einsatz eines LTM 1500-8.1 der Firma Hüffermann Krandienst in Norddeutschland. Auf dem Gelände der Erdgasaufbereitungsanlage von ExxonMobil in Großenkneten musste eine sanierte Gasfackel in knapp 100 Meter Höhe montiert werden. Neben dem achtachsigen Großkran waren für Rüst- und Nachführarbeiten zwei weitere Liebherr-Mobilkrane im Einsatz.

Bauma China 2016: Medium Pressure Pump added to Liebherr Hydraulic Portfolio

Liebherr component division presented at Bauma China 2016 in Shanghai the newly developed LH30VO axial piston pump of swash plate design. The medium pressure pump complements the existing product portfolio in the range of 280 bar nominal pressure and is suited for use in mobile machinery. The pump for all mobile applications with open circulation has a specific delivery rate of 45 cm³ per rotation and is already available with two of the most common controls.

Bauma China 2016: Successful Commissioning of Liebherr Electric Travel Drives

In the past year, Liebherr extended the components portfolio by electric travel drives (FAT 325). The first drives have now been successfully put into operation for a customer in Austria. The FAT 325 will be presented to the Chinese market for the first time at Bauma China 2016 in Shanghai.

Bauma China 2016: New Generation of Common Rail Systems from Liebherr with Additional Installation Version

At Bauma China 2016, Liebherr is presenting a new installation version of its pioneering common rail injection system 11.2 as well as a new engine control unit. Both in-house developed and manufactured innovations are planned for series production in the second half of 2016. The whole system is designed to meet the common off-road emissions standards as well as on-road guidelines EURO V and EURO VI.
