Successful new technical webinars
Operators are facing unprecedented challenges. This year, we decided to reinforce our technical support events to stand even closer to our customers. We have started to offer webinars in addition to our usual face-to-face Regional Technical Workshops. The success of these virtual events show that this was a worthy initiative!
Last year, as part of the Fleet Support for Take-Off initiative to help our customers in their recovery after the pandemic situation, we launched its first technical webinars. In October and November 2020, our Technical Support teams organized two sessions for the Airbus A320 and A330 family where technical information and procedures were provided to identify potential disruptions in advance and to initiate preventive measures. We were happy to receive a thoroughly positive feedback from the 115 participants from 89 different operators.
For this year, in order to continue providing best in class support for customers despite the unprecedented challenges that the aerospace industry is facing, we decided to set-up additional technical support webinar sessions on Airbus platforms, and extended this virtual format to other commercial aircraft platforms.
Our two OEM sites in Lindenberg and Toulouse handled a first set of webinar sessions on the Airbus A320 family in March 2021: customers from all over the world had been invited to three events to deal with ATA 21, ATA 36, ATA 27 in-service issues. More than 125 attendees followed the invitation and made the sessions a success.
The next webinar session takes place on June 24, 2021 and focuses on the COMAC ARJ21. With the participation of our Field Service Representatives, the technical service of Lindenberg and Toulouse will go through all ATA Chapters (ATA 21, 26, 27 and 30).
Our following webinar sessions will cover the Airbus fleet (A320 and A330 families) as well as Mitsubishi CRJ, and Embraer E-Jet E2. We will keep you informed about the dates, but you can already contact your Field Service Representatives to pre-register.
