High pressure non-return valve by Liebherr for Rolls-Royce’s Trent 7000 engine
The new twin-engine Airbus A330neo successfully entered into service in November 2018. Since then, more than 30 aircraft were delivered to a wide array of customers worldwide. The A330 neo is powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines which offer a significant reduction in fuel consumption.
Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS (France) supplies for the A330neo a brand new electro-pneumatic bleed system including innovative electro-pneumatic valves as well as the complete embedded software package and a specific bleed controller designed by Liebherr-Elektronik GmbH, Lindau (Germany). The compact, lightweight, high-reliability check valves on this high-performance engine contribute substantially to the engine’s fuel efficiency - for the benefit of the aircraft operators.
