A continuous technical collaboration with our customers
The last year was, again, a challenging one to maintain proximity with our customers’ technical community, because of international travel restrictions. We were not able to deploy all our customer events as planned; however, some initiatives were pushed through, and received positively by our customers.
This year, with air traffic recovery progressing, the demands to sustain increasing fleet operations have placed even more focus on performance and reliability.
Among our initiatives, we can highlight technical webinars on the Airbus A320 in Europe, Asia and America, as well as a webinar dedicated to the Bleed Test Set GSE.
At the end of 2021, we were very happy to welcome 24 participants including technical and engineering representatives from major North American airlines, Airbus, and Liebherr manufacturing and support sites to our Regional Technical Workshop (RTW) in Saline, Michigan (USA).
Initiated in 2005, Liebherr-Aerospace’s RTWs are technical symposiums that provide the perfect forum for airlines to gain more in-service experience and learn about forthcoming product enhancements related to Liebherr OEM components.
On the agenda of the Saline event : Liebherr-Aerospace’s extensive systems on board the Airbus A320 family as well as Airbus A220 aircraft including air management, flight control, hydraulic, and landing gear components. Currently, over 9,000 of these aircraft are being operated worldwide.
The RTW successfully took place in-person while the local applicable COVID-19 pandemic specifications were complied with.
Encouraged by the success of this first face-to-face session after quite a long while, the team is determined to put back in place our routine RTW in 2022:
- Airbus A320 in Dubai (UAE)
- Airbus A220 and A320 in Lindenberg (Germany)
- Embraer E-Jet E1 in Saline, Michigan (USA)
- CRJ700/900/1000 in Saline, Michigan (USA)
