In our second edition of Groundbreaking, we go behind the scenes of Liebherr Mining’s first repower of a diesel-drive excavator to electric drive. We take a closer look at some of our impressive products – including our D98 engines and our cable reel solution for electric excavators. We take a trip to Liebherr-Canada to learn about the Canadian mining industry and how Liebherr supports our Canadian customers. And we find out about our Quality Lab team and how they help customers all over the world, no matter where they are. All this and so much more can be found in this latest edition of Groundbreaking!

In our very first edition of Groundbreaking, we delve into Liebherr’s contributions to zero emission mining and even learn about how one of our customers is using an R 9400 excavator as part of their reclamation work! We also learn the nitty-gritty about our Assistance Systems for Liebherr trucks, highlight the important work of our application engineers, and speak to some of our female colleagues from around the world to learn what it’s like to be a woman in the mining industry. Plus, so many more stories from our teams and customers all around the world!
