The mobile crane LTM 1055-3.1. is a crane of the latest design. Liebherr will deliver 50 cranes of this type in 2004 to the procurement office D.G.A./S.P.A.R.T. of the French Ministry of Defence. In order to comply with the high requirements of the regular Army, of maintenance, supply and combat engineer units as well as of the Navy and the Airforce, the LTM 1055-3.1 will be equipped with features such as driver’s and crane operator’s cabs in blinded version, tyres with emergency running properties and manual hydraulic emergency actuation. Special containers will be delivered for the transport of accessories of the special equipment .
