The second in the group: Bracht takes delivery of Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane
Franz Bracht Kran-Vermietung GmbH has procured an LTM 1750-8.1 from Liebherr. It is the second mobile crane of this type in the Bracht group’s fleet: the first crane - sporting the blue corporate colour of Hofmann Kran-Vermietung GmbH & Co. KG - has been in operation for 10 years. The excellent experience with the 800-tonne crane from Liebherr and the superb utilisation in the large crane sector prompted Managing Director Dirk Bracht to invest in another model of this type.

Three Liebherr cranes on night shift for bridge construction
Several wildlife crossings are currently being constructed across motorways in Switzerland. At one such new wildlife bridge on the A1 motorway near Solothurn, the Bern-based company Affolter Transporte AG recently installed massive timber beams. Due to the required temporary closure of the motorway, the operation had to be meticulously planned and executed. Over six perfectly coordinated night shifts, the 38-metre-long elements were installed on schedule.

Danish waste company ARC invests in eight battery-electric Liebherr L 507 E wheel loaders to cut CO2
The Danish waste management company Amager Ressourcecenter (ARC) manages waste disposal for several municipalities in the greater Copenhagen area. ARC has set itself the goal of consistently reducing its CO₂ emissions to a minimum. After more than 200 electric refuse collection vehicles, the wheel loader fleet has been electrified – consisting of eight new battery-electric wheel loaders L 507 E from Liebherr.

New flagship for Yueh Hsin: LTM 1650-8.1 travels to Taiwan
At the end of June, Yueh Hsin from Taiwan took delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane from Liebherr. To receive the new acquisition in person, the management travelled to the manufacturing plant in Ehingen. The new 8-axle model is now the most powerful machine in the crane specialist’s fleet. The mobile crane’s high lifting capacities, together with VarioBallast® and VarioBase®, were the key criteria behind the purchase.

Liebherr Mining delivers complete trolley solution at Collahuasi mine in Chile
Earlier this month, Liebherr Mining commissioned a full trolley solution at Collahuasi copper mine in northern Chile. This is the first fully operational trolley line in Chile. The solution consists of T 284 trucks with retrofitted pantograph connections and all relevant infrastructure. The full scope of this trolley solution, from engineering and component supply to training and support, was delivered by Liebherr.

Liebherr Turkey and DSI agree on major dozer deal
Liebherr Turkey has reached an agreement with Turkey’s General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSİ Devlet Su İşleri) for the delivery of 130 crawler tractors. The order includes 120 units of the PR 756 Litronic and 10 units of the PR 736 Litronic. Production of the machines will begin shortly at the Liebherr facility in Telfs, Austria.

An old concrete pipe bridge needed to be replaced with a modern steel construction. The bridge connects refineries in the region with the Bottrop tank farm, crossing both the A42 and the River Emscher.

Liebherr supplies first batch of HVAC systems to Kazakhstan railway market
Liebherr Transportation Systems (China) has shipped the first batch of HVAC systems to the Stadler Rail Group. Until 2030, a total of 550 Liebherr HVAC units are to be delivered to the Swiss rolling-stock manufacturer’s subsidiary in Kazakhstan. The air-conditioning systems are designed and manufactured in China and will be installed in sleeper and couchette coaches ordered by the Federal Railways of Kazakhstan (KTZ).
