Новости | 29.06.2015 Liebherr and Rolls-Royce celebrate Joint Venture at Paris Air Show 2015

Tony Wood, President - Aerospace of Rolls-Royce and Dr. h.c. Willi Liebherr, Chairman of the Administrative Board of Liebherr-International AG, met at Paris Air Show 2015 to celebrate the new joint venture. The new company will develop manufacturing capability and capacity for the power gearbox for Rolls-Royce’s new UltraFan™ engine design.

The components will initially be produced in Germany at Liebherr-Aerospace’s facilities in Friedrichshafen and in Biberach an der Riss. As production volume increases, the joint venture will look at options for creating a standalone manufacturing infrastructure.
