The Turkish crane and heavy-lift company Doğu Kurtarma Vinç has expanded its fleet with a Liebherr LTM 1300-6.4 mobile crane. The new 300-tonne crane strategically bridges the gap between the existing 220- and 500-tonne cranes, enabling the company to further expand its range of operations. Particularly for projects requiring large lifting heights and high performance, the new acquisition significantly increases operational flexibility.

The LTM 1300-6.4 is the successor to the LTM 1300-6.3 and features the innovative LICCON3 control system and the new Liebherr mobile crane design. Its 90-metre telescopic boom makes it a powerful solution for high lifting heights and steep boom angles. This makes the crane particularly suitable for the installation of tower cranes and antennas, as well as maintenance work on wind turbines. However, the Liebherr 300-tonne crane is also ideal for inner-city operations and heavy-duty industrial tasks.

90-metre telescopic boom

Doğu Kurtarma Vinç emphasises that the crane’s exceptionally long 90-metre telescopic boom, high lifting capacity and quick set-up time were the decisive factors behind the investment. “The compact design, robust undercarriage construction and efficient rigging logistics of the 6-axle mobile crane help to implement projects more quickly and safely in a growing urban environment such as Istanbul. To further enhance safety, the crane has also been fitted with a camera system at the jib tip,” says company owner Mehmet Önal.

Doğu Kurtarma Vinç’s focus on demanding high-rise and tower crane projects, as well as applications in heavy industry, shipbuilding and energy and infrastructure projects, make the LTM 1300 6.4 a valuable addition. The company operates a total of 20 cranes – including seven telescopic mobile cranes, all from Liebherr. By continuously expanding and modernising its fleet, Doğu Kurtarma Vinç aims to consistently offer its customers safe, reliable and high-performance solutions.

Doğu Kurtarma Vinç was founded in Malatya in 1980 and now operates throughout Türkiye. In recent years, its area of operation has increasingly expanded to include Istanbul and the surrounding provinces. Crane rental and heavy-lifting are its core services. The company employs 30 staff and is constantly working to modernise its fleet and equip it for future requirements.
