Creating Passion: Your Responsibilities

1. Purchase Order Management: Create and process purchase orders (POs) based on internal requirements, Ensure accuracy in quantity, pricing, and delivery timelines, Track and follow up on order status
2. Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and pricing. Maintain good working relationships with vendors
3. Inventory & Stock Monitoring: Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking, Coordinate with warehouse/store teams, Ensure timely replenishment of materials
4. Collaboration: Coordinate with user departments sourcing, planning, warehouse, finance & production
5. Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of goods and services.
6. Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, and contracts Ensure documentation is accurate and audit-ready, update procurement databases or ERP system.
7. Compliance & Policy Adherence: Follow company procurement policies and procedures, ensure purchases meet quality and regulatory standards, support audits and compliance checks.
8. Reporting & Support: Prepare basic procurement reports (spend, orders, supplier performance). Assist senior procurement staff with analysis and planning
9. Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with preference for BAAN software expertise.

Contributing Your Strengths: Your Qualifications

Qualification and Education Requirements:

• Successfully completed studies (university / technical college) in the field of Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

• Industry exposure of 2-5 years with experience in Fabrication & Machining components
• Experience in Tower Crane / Heavy Industries will be preferred.
• Exposure to modern manufacturing techniques and processes.

Preferred Skills / Special Skills:

• Knowledge of tools such as PPAP, FMEA, 8D
• Must have knowledge about statutory compliance related to manufacturing operations.
• India taxation overview (GST, export benefits etc.)
