This month, Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH hosted more than 150 representatives of national and international suppliers at the Graf-Zeppelin-Haus in Friedrichshafen (Germany) and awarded five of them for outstanding performances:
The Supplier Award 2018 in Gold was presented to KD Ingenieurtechnik GmbH. MEAS France SAS received the Silver Award and two companies were awarded in the Bronze category: Alban Schledt GmbH & Co. KG as well as JSC Gidroagregat. Furthermore, Ziegler GmbH Feinwerktechnik received the “Best Improver Award 2018”.
Liebherr-Aerospace appreciates and is continuously working on the reliable partnership with its suppliers, as they are the basis of success. The company builds on their individual creativity and flexibility for the upcoming challenges in the aerospace industry.

Liebherr supplies electromechanical rudder actuator for Phenom 300EV – a milestone in civil aviation
Liebherr-Aerospace has signed an agreement with Embraer to become part of the rudder-by-wire upgrade of the flight control system for the Phenom 300EV. The upgrade includes an electromechanical rudder actuator with integrated control and power electronics. It is one of the world’s first primary flight control applications of an electromechanical actuator (EMA) for a rudder on a civil aircraft. Furthermore, it is the first rudder EMA with fully integrated electronics.
