About the role

We are currently seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to work at Liebherr in Perth.

The Auto Electrician is responsible for the provision of the safe, efficient and compliant low voltage electrical diagnostic, repair, maintenance and component replacement services to the Division’s customer base.

Duties

Provide low voltage electrical services including but not limited to:

• Inspect products and/or materials for conformity

• Request required spare parts

• Operate workshop equipment and relevant lifting equipment

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and manuals

• Maintain, overhaul and test electrical/electronic equipment

• Lubrication of electrical equipment

• Diagnostic analysis on electrical systems

• Running adjustments to plant and equipment

• Repair Vehicle/Plant Electrical Components

• Perform modifications to wiring looms and electrical components

• Machine armatures and ream bushes to fit shafts

• Strip, clean, lubricate and paint repaired items

Competencies

Skills & experience

Essential

• Certificate III Electrotechnology (HV) OR
• Certificate III Automotive Electrical Technology

Desirable

• Large excavator/haul truck experience
• Liebherr mining equipment experience
• High Risk Licenses; LF, DG, EWP Working at Heights certificate
