Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of established mining customers with existing Liebherr equipment, acting as the primary commercial contact and building strong long-term relationships.
• Develop strategic account plans that identify customer priorities, fleet requirements, replacement cycles and opportunities to grow Liebherr's share of fleet and wallet.
• Actively develop new business across Queensland mining companies, contractors and projects, building relationships with prospective customers and key decision makers.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified equipment opportunities across both existing and prospective customers.
• Identify opportunities early and position Liebherr effectively in customer fleet planning, replacement and project development discussions.
• Prepare and lead quotations, tenders, commercial proposals and contract reviews negotiating opportunities through to successful award.
• Maintain strong market intelligence across customers, projects, competitors and future equipment requirements to support forecasting and business planning.
• Work closely with Customer Support, Operations and other internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues and deliver strong outcomes across the life of the equipment.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in key account management, business development, sales or customer relationship management within the mining, resources, heavy industry or OEM sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience preparing quotations, tenders, proposals and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Ability to identify customer needs, develop strategic account plans, and drive revenue growth through new business opportunities.
• Well-developed analytical skills, including market analysis, forecasting, financial evaluation, and interpretation of customer and industry data.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management, Marketing or a related discipline are desirable; equivalent industry experience will also be highly regarded.
