Responsibilities
The Project Engineer, Diesel Engines is responsible to provide consulting and technical support to global reman organization. As Project Engineer, He / she is responsible to aid in the development of the required technical resources utilized in the remanufacturing process for diesel engines. He / she responds to technical requests from Affiliates and business partners, identifies areas for continuous improvement through data analysis, and initiates technical improvement projects.

Competencies
- Fluent English, French. German of benefit.
- Strong technical background, especially in the area of off-highway diesel engine remanufacturing required.
- Bachelors degree (BSEE/EET) in engineering related field with eight years applied diesel remanufacturing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with Liebehrr diesel fuel and electric systems in mining, marine or power generation application of benefit.
- Experience operating engine test bench systems of benefit.
- Ability to author and redact technical reports.
- Strong communication and relationship skills.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally up to 30% to Affiliate or supplier sites.
- Demonstrated ability to use ERP-LN, BaanIV preferred. Required Microsoft Windows and Office. Database proficiency of benefit.
